Well my 2010 fusion did the same thing starting 2 years ago in 2018 on labor day. It would start up after stalling and would not happen again for weeks at a time. Turns out it was the electronic throttle body. Getting a price from Ford dealer was guestamated at $800 to 1000 out the door.

I've searched the forums but no luck. I have a 2019 fusion sel and the battery keeps draining after about 2 to 3 days. I put a brand new battery in a week ago and it sat for 4 days, went completely dead. Alternator is charging at 14.2V and after driving for 45 minutes, the battery voltage is 12.8. Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the current cord with a new 120V convenience cord with a thermistor, free of charge. The recall began January 18, 2019. Try changing out the low pressure fuel sensor. I received no check engine lights until it stalled multiple times in a row. My fix (which solved the issue) was to replace the low pressure fuel sensor.
