This is a common problem when doing any kind of cooling system work on a jeep. The JK is well known for being difficult to get all the air out of the system. Often times taking multiple attempts. I doubt the fan clutch will help high speed overheating. The air flow at speed should be plenty to cool the coolant in the radiator between thermostat cycles.I replaced my fan clutch on the 4.2 hoping it would help my low speed heat but no dice.
